We design and build Shopify stores for South African brands: a catalogue that is easy to browse on a phone, products named the way people search for them, and a checkout that gets out of the way.
RU3D sells its own 3D-printed designs: 225 products across keychains, fidgets, desk pieces and photo lithophanes, every one photographed for real. Close Quarter Survival sells tactical gear, medical supplies and training courses side by side, in a category where buyers are sceptical by default.
Both needed the same thing from the build: a store that earns trust in its first screen and makes the next step obvious.
People search for the thing, not the shop. So products are named the way people search for them, photos carry descriptive filenames, and every product has a written description. On RU3D in November 2026, 919 of 931 product photos had search-readable filenames, and all 225 products were described.
Prices in rand, local shipping rules, and payment through a South African gateway. Custom work gets its own path: RU3D takes custom 3D-printing enquiries alongside the ready-made range.
And because it is Shopify, you run the store yourself. Products, stock, orders and discounts all live in Shopify's admin, so day-to-day selling never waits on a developer.
A shop is one of the integrations that sets where a build lands in its range, alongside page count and whether we write the copy. The price is fixed in the proposal before we start.

Because you can run it yourself. Products, stock, orders and discounts all live in Shopify's admin, and the platform looks after hosting, security and checkout, so the store keeps selling while you get on with the business.
Yes. Product data can come in through an import file rather than being typed in by hand. RU3D's first range was brought in this way.
