3D and cinematic websites

A cinematic build starts from the story, not the effect. The motion is designed to carry the argument: a mountain you fly toward, a tunnel you walk through, a portrait that moves as you scroll. Each was made for one site and nowhere else.
Spectacle that makes people wait is not premium. On lodevant.com, the first frame of the 3D scene is shown as an image the moment the page opens, and the live scene fades in over it once it has loaded. On a slow connection or Data Saver, the 3D is never downloaded at all.
Visitors who prefer reduced motion get a still version, and every word stays real text, so it reads clearly and search engines can index it.

Before you ask
Not if it is built for phones first. The page shows a still of the first frame immediately, loads the live scene behind it, and skips the 3D on slow connections. Lodevant's own mountain and tunnel are built this way.
Not when the words are real text. The 3D is the setting; the headings, copy and links are ordinary HTML that Google reads like any other page.
Four to six weeks, depending on how much of the site moves. The date is fixed in the proposal before we start.
