The brief
The brief was a portfolio people remember after the tab is closed. It leads with its graphics: a folded-paper portrait in a crimson light that moves as you scroll, then the story behind it, from engineering and cybersecurity to the companies he founded.
How it was built
A personal site is judged in its first screen, so the first screen is a portrait: a photograph folded like paper, held in a crimson beam of light, that moves frame by frame as you scroll.
On a phone the layout changes rather than shrinks. The name gets a screen of its own first, then the portrait gets its own pinned screen, so neither has to fight the other for space.
Below it, one smooth-scrolling page tells the rest of the story: the companies, the timeline, the projects and the expertise behind them. Visitors who prefer reduced motion get the still portrait instead of the animation.
